The Olore- In Council has urged government at all levels not to neglect traditional rulers in efforts to provide safety for their subjects amidst the current wake of insecurity, saying this would enhance robust economic stability among residents of the industrial town.
The traditional chiefs spoke during their courtesy visit to executive chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye at the council Secretariat in Ore at the weekend.
The Ayadi of Ore Kingdom,High Chief Tope Ijiniga who led the delegations to the chairman's office, congratulated Otunba Adegoroye on his landslide victory in the last local government election,urged the council boss not to relent in addressing all prevailing issues capable of attracting development to Ore land as one of economic centres of Ondo state.
Speaking on the vacant stool of Olore since the demise of late Oba Johnson Olatomide He equally appealed to the executive chairman of Odigbo Local Government to use his good office to urgently wade in to the situation by contacting relevant stakeholders to allow the ruling house of AKINTIMEHIN to present their candidate to fill the vacant seat.
Across session of traditional chiefs in the area including the Legiri of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Dominic Arise, and Chief (Mrs) Olatomide Florence condemned how some certain group parading themselves as next to produce the new Olore, tasked government to wash away their decision, describing the move as unconstitutional and disrespectful to the norms and traditions of Yoruba race.

Responding, Odigbo council boss, Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye appreciated the chiefs for their visit, adding that all their aspirations could only be implemented by state government after performing the sacred for the selection of new Olore.
Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye, however, pledged neutrality in the selection process, adding that only God ordains one as King, urging the leaderships of AKINTIMEHIN to be fair and just during the process.
He re-echoed the commitment of Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for a crime-free atmosphere, urging the ruling houses to stay clear from any act that could lead to tussle and unrest in Ore

During the visit to Odigbo Local Government chairman were; the Ayadi of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Tope Ijiniga, the Legiri of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Dominic Arise, the Oloja of Italowo,Bamidele Oseyemi,his counterpart Kazeem Ijiniga of Kajola Oju-Irin.
Others include;the Oloja of OLOWO OLASUNBO ARIYO,,the Genetu, Chief Simon Adeboye,the Iyaloja of Oja Oba, Chief (Mrs) Olatomide Florence,the palace secretary, Chief Awosika, the SASERE Lobun Chief (Mrs) Adegbulugbe Sasere, and the Jomu of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Monday Sawoju.
