Aiyedatiwa's Aide, Hon. Wellington Adebawo in action, clears Broken-Down Truck, Gas Tanker from Akure Roads





The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response, Hon. (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, led a team to clear road obstructions in Akure, on Monday February 3, 2025. 

The team successfully towed a truck loaded with logs which broke down on the expressway along Ijapo and Agbogbo road to a safe environment in police custody.

The truck's breakdown had caused inconveniences on the road, posing a risk to motorists and pedestrians. Hon. Adebawo's prompt response ensured the obstruction was cleared, restoring normal traffic flow.

In addition to clearing the truck, Hon. Adebawo also ordered the removal of a gas tanker that had broken down on Adegbemile road, causing obstruction for days. 

During his visit to the scene, the special assistant to the governor assessed the situation and directed his team to take necessary actions to remove the tanker.



Hon. Adebawo said that he is committed o ensuring public safety and preventing potential hazards, hence his proactive approach to emergency response. 

He also added that as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response, he would continue to work closely with various government agencies, including the Nigerian Police, Road Safety Officers, Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Fire Services and others, to strengthen emergency response efforts in Ondo State.
