Akenneyin Royal Dynasty's End of Year Get-together Party holds December 28

All appears set as the illustrious Akenneyin Royal Dynasty is set to hold its one-of-a-kind 2024 End-of-Year Get-together Party in grandstyle 

The event is scheduled to commence on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the ancient palace in Ode-Mahin, Ilaje Local Government of Ondo State by 11am 

Newsline NG learnt that the event is purposely designed to bring together eminent members of the family from far and wide to share memorable experience for its distinguished family members, whilst simultaneously fostering a sense of filial fellowship in an atmosphere of uninhibited amity with world-class entertainment, sumptuous gourmet food, choice wines and enjoyment galore.

The Olori Ebi of the Akenneyin Dynasty, High Chief Lennard Oluyoye Ifayemi while giving a historical background of the legendary prestigious family reiterated that the main objective of the get-together is to encourage enduring, cordial relations among family members and to strengthen the platform for familial interaction and networking, with a view to the enhancement of the interests of family members globally.

The initiator and chairperson of the Planning Committee, HRH Olori Olufunmilayo Nejo-Oluyede, sees the family as a virile, united institution that is poised to constructively impact both its immediate environs and the world at large through this and subsequent similar events.

Her words "In the spirit of the season, the globally-renowned queen urges all to make a paradigm shift with a focus on the advancement of the interests of society’s less privileged in these precarious times, as did our Lord, Jesus Christ who essentially, is the raison d’etre for the Christmas celebrations.

Olori Nejo-Oluyede stated further that the get-together should be seen as a place to unite, network, and promote the development of Ode-Mahin, Ilaje and Ondo State in general.

“In these most difficult times, my privileged, noble family members should consider themselves as seasoned role models in our collective quest for a better world for all and sundry.” Olori Nejo-Oluyede said.

The Planning Committee of this remarkable event comprises such specially-selected notable personalities as High Chief Abu Oyenowo-Ogungbure; Prince Akeke Soji; Prince Ayo Williams; Omo’ba Oluwagheyinmi Omowole; Prince Hon. Adeyoriju Omowole (Secretary, Ilaje Local Government); Princess Hon. Olawunmi Fayemi-Obayelu, Member, Ondo State House of Assembly; Prince Yomi Olaseile; Princess Bishop (Mrs.) Oluseyi Odusola (President, NCWS, Ondo State).
