Oye-Ekiti Festival: Engr. Kayode Ojo advocates for more development in FUOYE

It was an atmosphere filled with pomp and pageantry as Son's and Daughters of Oye Ekiti troupe out en mass to celebrate its Festival in grandstyle

The event was graced by important dignitaries among the likes of, Vice-Chancellor, (FUOYE), Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina, Represented by Professor Tajudeen Bolanle Opoola, DVC, Admin, Capacity Chairman of SSANU FUOYE, The Chairman, Governing Council (FUOYE), Engr. Kayode Ojo

Others included; Comrade Benjamin Oluwaseun Faleye and his team, Director Institute of Part Studies, Associate Prof. Adeleke Omolade, among others

The institution's Governing Council Chairman, Engr. Kayode Ojo who doubles as the Chairman of the occasion commend the organizers of the festival, advocate for more development in the university

His word "My appointment as the Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti feels like a homecoming for me. We need to see more development at the university," 


"I appeal to the sons and daughters of Oye Ekiti, both at home and abroad, to contribute to the development of our university."

"I have promised to lead FUOYE to greater achievements, and i will leverage my extensive experience for the advancement of the university. He said. 


Engr Ojo however congratulated the Oloye of Oye-Ekiti, Oba Micheal Ademolaju and all indigene of Oye-Ekiti for witnessing the Festival Day in happiness, praying that they will witness more on earth.
