FIFA licensed Agent, Shalom Olaseni has congratulated Hon. Bamidele Ologunloluwa over his appointment as Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA).
Olaseni while congratulating other members of the Board, charged them to work with unity of purpose for the overall development of football in the state.
The Chairman of United Global Resolve For Peace (UGRFP) and Ondo State Conscience Movement(OCM) described individuals on ODSFA board as men of impeccable character and well rooted in grassroots football development.
He admonished the board to look beyond established teams like Sunshine Stars FC and Sunshine Queens FC , saying they should make under - age football development their focal point.
He added that it's a great opportunity for the board to change the narrative of the Agency by embarking on aggressive grassroots football development across the 18 local government areas of the state.
He said: "This is an opportunity for us to catch the young talents that abound in the state and expose them to global football market, which will also serve as a means of revenue generation for the state".
"While I thank and commend our sports loving Governor, Hon, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for putting a round peg in a round hole by appointing professionals into the board of the Agency, i urged him to invest more in the agency to enable the board perform excellently for the prosperity of Ondo State."
"Football is a serious business and a veritable tool to positively engage youth, men and women for those that understand the rudiment of the business and invest into it".
