Aiyedatiwa Aide, Hon. Kelvin Olaolu Solomon urges Ondo Corps members to engage in Community Development projects





The Swearing-In Ceremony for Batch B, Stream 1 of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) was held with great pomp and ceremony at Ikare-Akoko. 

The event saw the presence of the Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs, the state governor, and various other state officials, highlighting the importance of the NYSC program to the state's educational and developmental agenda.

The state governor graced the occasion, delivering a keynote speech that emphasized the critical role of the NYSC in national unity and development. 

He commended the new corps members for their commitment to national service and encouraged them to embrace the opportunity to contribute to community development. 

The Governor during his speech, promised to return the payment of monthly stipends to Corps Members and the renovation of the NYSC Orientation camp.

The Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs, Hon Kelvin Olaolu Solomon attended the ceremony, underscoring the government's dedication to the welfare and development of the youth. 

He reiterated the administration’s commitment to providing necessary support and resources to ensure a successful service year for the corps members. 

During his inspiring address, he highlighted various support initiatives and urged them to engage actively in community development projects.

The new corps members took the official oath, pledging to serve the nation with dedication and integrity. The oath-taking marks the official commencement of their service year.

The ceremony featured a vibrant parade by the corps members and cultural performances, reflecting the diverse heritage of the nation.

The Batch B, Stream 1 NYSC Swear-In Ceremony was a resounding success, marked by the enthusiastic participation of the corps members and the unwavering support of the state government. 

The presence of the SSA on Student Affairs, the state governor, and other officials underscored the significant role of the NYSC in fostering national unity and development. 

The event set a positive tone for the new corps members as they embark on their year of national service.
