Ondo State coord commends camp officials, urges them never to relent in discharging thier duty

The NYSC Ondo State Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Amaramiro Pepple has appreciated the camp officials for the commitment to duties exhibited since the commencement of the orientation course.

The State Coordinator expressed this heart of gratitude during the second Steering Committee meeting held at the new Orientation Broadcasting Service (OBS) Studio.

Pepple, who confessed that the first week of the exercise was challenging, being the first time he would be overseeing such huge assignment as the helmsman said that he was proud of all the camp officials.

"The first week was indeed a litmus test for me. I had lots of apprehension being my first major assignment as the State Coordinator but I must say proudly that you all contributed in no small measure to reduce the anxiety. I can now authoritatively confirm that Ondo State has a crop of officers that when you give them assignments, you can go to bed" he proudly said.

The NYSC Ondo State boss intimated the meeting that the remaining week and days is full of activities, and as such all hands must be on deck, calling on everyone to be up and doing.

The Coordinator who noted appreciable improvement in the attendance of camp officials during programmes and activities, appealed to everyone not to rest on their oars as 'it is not over until it is over'.

He hinted of the likelihood of the Director General and other important personalities' visit to the camp, and urged the Heads of assignments to impress upon their subordinates and committee members not to lower their guards but to be at alert at all times.

In reviewing the second week of activities, the Camp Director, Mr. Ojo Jonathan Kolawole acknowledged the impressive synergy between the camp officials, and called for more support of everyone in order to remain on top of the camp situation at all times.

The Camp Director charged the camp officials to live up to the expectations of the management and continue to give the best services and mentorship to the members of the service corps.

Heads of assignments gave briefs on the activities of their various committees and planned the modalities for the remaining week.
