Hoodlums allegedly Raid APC Chairman’s Residence, Government Agency in Search of Election Materials

In a brazen act of political subterfuge, hoodlums purportedly affiliated with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s administration, along with individuals previously associated with the state’s tech sector during the previous administration, reportedly orchestrated a coordinated raid on the residence of the APC Party Chairman.

The upscale residence, nestled within the VIP lounge of the Ondo State Government House, was not the only target, as the Government Agency known as SITA also fell victim to their nefarious activities.

Eyewitnesses recount how the assailants, arriving in a convoy of five black Toyota Hilux trucks and a white truck, descended upon the targeted locations in the dead of night, executing their operation with military precision.

The raid, which occurred at approximately 1 a.m on Tuesday morning, resulted in the confiscation and removal of sensitive election materials from the APC Chairman’s residence.

In response to this audacious breach of security and potential electoral manipulation, factions aligned with Mr. Wale Akinteriwa and Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, key figures within the opposition, have come forward to pledge their full cooperation with law enforcement agencies.

Armed with credible information regarding the perpetrators and the events surrounding the burglary, these groups stand ready to assist the police and the Department of State Services (DSS) in their investigation.

Amidst mounting concerns over the misuse of state resources and abuse of power by Governor Aiyedatiwa to undermine opposition candidates, a chorus of voices from across the political spectrum has called for an urgent and thorough investigation into the matter.

The integrity of the forthcoming primary elections hangs in the balance, as stakeholders demand accountability and transparency in the face of flagrant electoral malpractice.

As the wheels of justice begin to turn, citizens and political observers alike remain vigilant, determined to uphold the principles of democracy and safeguard the electoral process from undue influence and coercion
