"The All Progressives  Congress Chairman in the State, Engr Ade Adetimehin have been in constant discussions with the Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa with a view to resolving the impasse caused by court case instituted by PDP against the 51 LCDA/ LG in the state, by ensuring the matter is settled out of court.

"Things are hard in the country as a result of subsidy removal and floating of naira. The lawmakers should focus more on meaningful and productive things to do to support the President in cushioning the effects on the masses"

The former council head added that the information at their disposal indicates that the Deputy Governor, Chief Olayide Adelami gave the late Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu political and financial support during the electioneering campaigns, leading to his first and second terms in office and, subsequently rendered the same support all through his tenure as governor of the state.
