Commendations and pledges of continued support were made by beneficiaries of End of Year, Cash gifts and Foodstuff for constituents of Hon Kolawole Ologede in Akure North State Constituency of Ondo State during the week.
The beneficiaries who were mainly Widows and the Aged could not hide their joy as they burst into spontaneous songs and dances when they sighted the quality of foodstuffs provided at the venues of the programme and when it was announced that cash gifts would equally be added, they took to the dancing floor.
Addressing the gathering at Iju and Itaogbolu, the Honourable Member representing Akure North State Constituency, Hon Kolawole Ologede said that event was to appreciate the people for their support in the last election.
Also at Oba-Ile, headquarters of Igba-otun Local Council Development Area , Hon Ologede assured that he would not relent in his commitment to the well-being of his people.
" You supported me massively during the election, it is right and normal for me to reciprocate your support during this season of celebrations", he said
The beneficiaries who were unanimous in their call for the continuity of such gesture assured the State Lawmaker of their unflinching support as a result of his commitment to their wellbeing which they said have remained unparalleled in the State Constituency.
Several community and political leaders across the State Constituency including, the Odopetu of Oba-Ile, High Chief Thomas Amubioya; Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye; Hon Tayo Fayanju and Hon Ayodele Atanniyi attended the programme.
