Lagelu: Charity group visits JKS Center for children with Special needs, gifts Stationaries, Toiletries others.

It was an atmosphere filled with pomp and pageantry in Ibadan as corps members (Charity group) gifted noddles, toiletries to children with disabilities as part of thier project.

This was done in accordance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)  Scheme to give back to the society 

Newsline NG learnt that the project was the second of its kind this year. 

The charity group under Lagelu local government area of Oyo State last Thursday paid a visit to Children With autism, cerebral palsy at Jks Center for children with Special Needs and gifted noddles, toiletries, others to the children of the aforementioned. 

The President of the group (Charity), Olawusi Mary while speaking at the occasion said, the long awaited project has finally come to reality. 

She said the visit to the children with disabilities is to show them love and care hence, what charity stands for. 

"We are here to make the children with disabilities feel loved, happy and let them know that when their is life, there is hope. 


Mary however thanked the group members for making the project a successful one, saying "it is actually very beautiful, innovative and symbolic. 




The Management of Jks Center for children With Special Needs however appreciated the corps members for their kind gesture in contributing thier quota to the home. 

Items donated to the children, included, 
Stationaries, Toiletries, Noodles, Junks among others.
