Sunshine Queens Football Club of Akure have congratulated Members of Sports Writers Association Of Nigeria (SWAN) Ondo State chapter over the successful conduct of their election.
The Team Manager of the Club, Kehinde Odogun in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Akure ,the state capital said Sunshine Queens felicitate the new executive members of the association.
Odogun urges the Chairman of the association, Segun Giwa to roll up his sleeves and swing into action that will promote sports development in Ondo State.
He admonished the executive to see all the members of that association as his own, and ensure he unite all sundry for the smooth running of his administration.
According to him, "don't be distracted with the frivolity associated with the process of the election, all the members of the association are winners and provide quality leadership.
"Work with relevant sports stakeholders within and outside the state with the aim of surpasses the good records set by your predecessors".
"We thank all the major players in the successful conduct of the association's elective Congress, which was peaceful without acrimony, it's in deed showed that sports journalists are the real watchdog of the Society.
