FUOYE: Faculty of Mgt Science's maiden seminar holds July 17

All appears set in Federal University Oye Ekiti, as Faculty of Management Sciences In conjunction with Counseling and Human Development Centre is set to organized a one Day Seminar 

The seminar with the theme "Building a Society of Responsible Citizens will be held at the Faculty Of management Science building of the institution on Monday, July 17, 2023 by 10:am

Speaking with Newsline NG about the forthcoming seminar, the convener, Mrs Apuabi Rachael Bosede, who doubles as the Faculty Counsellor said the essence of the seminar is to motivate the students of the institution for better performance 

"The counseling and Human development center in its effort to characterized the core objective of the university in learning and character for national transformation has Channeled its effort towards motivating the students for better performance and being worthy representative of the university

"Consequently, the center is organizing a one day seminar for the final year students, especially in the faculty of Management science, to prepare them for the life after graduation, the seminar is also to enhance a possibility of the students enhancing the potential in them 



"The seminar has a central theme and sub theme which included, Building the society of responsible citizens(Main theme)Social media influence on people's behaviour to be anchored by Mr Ayodele Ayo - Akande popularly known as Ay Nigeria 


Also, Building profitable and responsible relationships to be anchored by Mr. Adetoye T. Lomuwagun, SAR, office of the Vic-Chancellor while Mr. Emmanuel Adohoje SAR, Academic Affairs Officer will be speaking on Corporate Social Responsibility: Impacting Your Community As A Young Graduate



Other important dignitaries expected at the seminar included the Vice Chancellor, FUOYE, Prof Abayomi Sunday FASINA, Prof. Benjamin Omolayo, Director of Counseling and Human Development Center,  FUOYE, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences,  Prof. Babatunde Afolabi(host), students in the faculty of Management Science, among others

Newsline NG however gathered that the seminar is the maiden edition of its kind in the history of the faculty in the institution.
