He admonished Muslim faithful especially in Ijigba land to use the Sallah festival to promote unity, tolerance, peaceful coexistence and the spirit of sacrifice.

"I extend my greetings and best wishes to you and your loved ones. This is a time of great significance, as we commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah"

I enjoin you all to use the period to uphold the spiritual benefit of the celebration by extending a hand of friendship and solidarity across all divides and imbibing the spirit of sacrifice and obedience to the higher authority as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and upheld by Prophet Mohammed,” he said.
