The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, winner of the Saturday's 18 Ondo State House of Assembly election.
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji polled a total of 13,967 votes to defeat his rival Dotun Olorunyomi of the People's Democratic Party, PDP who also scored 10,796 votes.
The INEC returning officer, Kayode Olufemi while announcing the result, declared Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel as Odigbo Constituency I lawmaker-elect.
Speaking on the outcome of the election shortly after official announcement INEC, lawmaker-elect Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel expressed his optimism for winning the seat, appreciated his Constituents for believing in his political agility sagacity,
He however promised to keep to his campaign promises made during the struggle.
The newly elected lawmaker, however, commended APC faithfuls for hooking up to his aspiration until the battle is won
