A Chieftain of APC in Ondo State and the Convener of Ibi giga Ambassadors Chief Dr Alex Ajipe has commiserated with the Governor of Ondo state Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu over the death of his mother, Evangelist Grace Akeredolu.
Evangelist Grace Akeredolu died on Thursday morning at her resident in Ibadan Oyo State capital at the age of 90
He described the deceased as an enigmatic woman whose entire life was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
Ajipe in a statement issued by his media aide, Solomon Adewoye while consoling governor Akeredolu to take solace in God for ensuring a gracious exit for Mama, thanked God for making the Governor to live behind his mother.
He described Late Evangelist Grace Akeredolu as a woman who dedicated her life for the education of her children and their well being.
While commiserating with the governor and the entire family on the passage of their matriarch, he described the death of the late mother as “indeed a great loss not just to the Akeredolu family but the entire sunshine state.
“We can all attest to the fact that mama lived a fulfilled and exemplary of a true and caring mother which is worthy of emulation.
"She will be greatly missed for her motherly role, timely advice, support and consistent prayer for the Akeredolus and Ondo State at large. Mama has left an indelible mark and indeed lived for mankind".
“There is no gainsaying that God has blessed Ondo State through the fruits of her womb”
Though her death is painful but there cannot be a better time for her exit than now because one cannot write a biography of a great woman than the success which God had made Mama to accomplish during her life time.
“We give solace in the fact that Mama lived a good life and left a great legacy worthy of emulation. She left a good legacy by giving her children best things of life, as being manifest in the life of Governor Akeredolu. I pray that the Almighty God will grant the family a great fortitude to bear this loss" he said
Ajipe however, called on the governor and his siblings to take solace in the fact that their mother lived a good and fulfilled life, adding that her memory would forever be etched in the hearts of people.
