Crest Fm's Orin iyin@2: Donates school materials to schools in Ondo

The Management of one of the fastest rising Radio station in Ondo state, Crest 106.1 FM has donated some school materials to schools in the state

The donation was done as part of activities to mark the second anniversary of the station existence in the state which ended in a weeklong activities tagged" "Operation 150 school bags,1500 note Books, 2000 Writing Materials. 

The activity was described as quite unprecedented, as one of its widely accepted programme, Orin Iyin also mark the second anniversary of its existence on the wave. 

While speaking at the different schools, the presenter of the programme, Mr Dayo Afolabi(GGA) said the initiative was made possible through the support of well meaning members of the listening public with their cash and moral support. 

Mr Afolabi added that 150 indigent pupils across the three senatorial districts of Ondo State were selected based on recommendations by the Head teachers of the respective schools.

The official presentation of the materials were carried out at the different schools by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Adeolu Gboyega, Head of News and Current Affairs, Mr Godday Ighoteguono, the Head of Marketing, Mr Yinka Ajagunna and the Ag. Head of Programmes, Damilola Taiwo. 

In his remarks, the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Adeolu Gboyega who commended Mr Dayo Afolabi for his exemplary conduct assured that the station will do more in improving its Corporate Social Responsibility programmes while more schools will benefit from the initiative in due course. 

Newsline NG learnt that the students were selected from schools in Ondo Central Senatorial District, Ondo North Senatorial District, Ondo South Senatorial District 

Among the schools were, Alagbaka Primary School, Akure, Elemuletu Primary School, Akure, St. Paul Primary School, Akure, St. John Primary School, Oba-Ile, Fanibi Primary School, Akure, L.A  primary school, Igbe, Owo, Methodist primary school, Owo, St. Luke's primary School Isijogun, Owo, Saint Mary Demonstration Primary School, Owo.

Others included ; Olagbegi C&S Primary School, Owo,  A.U.D ii ijebu Owo, Islamic Primary School, Ikare Akoko, St Stephen's Primary School, Ikare Akoko, Baptist Primary School, Ode Aye, Community Primary School, Sabomi, Egudu Primary School, Gbodigo
