A Police Constable officer, Chimezie Ugwu has tendered his application for resignation from his police job due to poor remuneration.
Ugwu, with force number: 528089, posted to Igbo Eze South police division, Ibagwa, Aka, Nsukka, said this in a statement on Friday.
He said "I humbly put down this letter to request for resignation of my police job.
"The purpose of my resignation is as a result of poor remuneration which is unbearable to me.
"I find it difficult to feed myself with three standard square meals let alone self maintenance as a man.
"I appreciate given me opportunity to join the organization," he said.
