Traffic congestion hits Leo junction as trailer conveying soft drinks fell down.

A trailer conveying soft drinks has caused a heavy traffic jam at the popular Leo junction in Akure, Ondo State capital 

The trailer blocked the two sides of the dualised road while the gridlock lasted

A source while speaking with Newsline NG said, the trailer which was coming from Oyemekun road, trying to cross to the other side of Road, that leads to champion area suddenly fell down. 

Policemen were however drafted to the scene to divert Traffic while a towing truck from the ministry of transportation awaiting the evacuation of the goods in the faulty trailer before towing it.

However, no life was lost to the accident.

Witnesses at the scene expressed joy that calamity did not befall residents of Akure in less than 48hrs to the new year.
