Oyo corps members urged to respect culture




The State Coordinator NYSC Oyo State, Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe has enjoined the 2021 batch C stream 2 corps members to respect other people's culture.

She said every culture is unique in its own way and no culture is surbodinate to another.

She also asked them to respect the culture of their host community and promote peaceful coexistence and unity in their various places of Primary Assignment.

The State Coordinator who made this call  during the 2021 batch C Stream ll inter-Platoon Cultural Carnival,equally commended the National Youth Service Corps for bringing out the beauty in our diversity. 



She stated that God has put us together with diverse culture, tribe, tongues and religion for a purpose and that should not be a reason for classification.

She therefore charged the corps members to be their brother's keeper and seek love to strengthen the unique bond that has brought us together as Nigerians.

Mrs.Ogbuogebe identified with all the platoons depicting different culture in Nigeria in a very colorful and admirable atmosphere.


The side attraction that thrilled both corps members and camp officials was the highly skilled performance of the Nigerian Army and Man 'O' War in drill presentation.
