Inter platoon Drill competition holds in Oyo





The NYSC Oyo State has held its inter platoon drill competition in Iseyin camp.
The 2O21 Batch C Stream ll corps members displayed a colorful parade with professionalism.

The aim of the drill competition which was to test excellence,hardwork team spirit and discipline among corps members, was highly rated.

The State Coordinator , Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe commended the performance of the corps members and expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Army for the training of corps members towards the realization of the goals and objectives of the NYSC Scheme.

Ogbuogebe also expressed her satisfaction with the general conducts of the corps members, she remarked that their proficiency in performance during the parade has shown their level of discipline and patriotism which has contributed greatly to the success of the orientation exercise.

The Camp Commandant, Lt Suleiman Bassi,in his opening remark commended the State Coordinator by the management for the good working relationship the Army enjoys in the camp.

Bassi described the  inter platoon drill competition as a demonstration of discipline and patriotism.

He assured the State Coordinator of their continuous support towards achieving greater successes in subsequent Orientation Courses.


Lt Ismail Awal, Commander Operation Burst Saki,who was the  reviewing Officer of the drill  competition, described the Drill as the foundation of discipline which has been proven by the voice command, confidence and professionalism exhibited by the corps members.

Lt. Aliyu Ibrahim, the Presiding Chief Judge, commended the corps members for their high level of performance.He equally enjoined them to stay disciplined, patriotic and committed to nation building.


At the end of the competition, platoon 3 emerged the winner , while platoon 1 and 8 came second and third respectively.
