Why Academic Calendar of Schools was changed --- Ondo Govt

The Ondo state government has effected changes in the academic calendar of primary and Secondary schools in the state. 

According to the new arrangement, third term break has been extended from one week to three weeks.

This is contained a circular signed by Mr Akindele Ige, Director, School Services, Ondo state Ministry of Education and made available to Newsline NG

The statement reads in part "Kindly note that the State Government has approved the extension of third term holiday from one weet to three weeks, for schools across the State"

"The decision was taken to enable the learners and teathers have ample time to rest and make adequate, necessary preparations before the commencement of the new Academic Session"

Consequently, please find below the adjusted calendar: 

3rd Term

Monday 5th July — Friday 10th,  September, 2021 for 10 weeks 

Mid-Term

Friday 6th, August, 2021 for 1Day 

Holiday 

Monday 13” September — Thursday 30th September,  for 3 weeks 2021.
