Hon. Dr Bode Ayorinde, one of the leading governorship aspirants in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has assured members of the party credibility and honesty ahead of the party's primary election in July.
Ayorinde made the disclosure, through a release by his media aide, Segun Adebumiti, while meeting with PDP delegates in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state.
The former federal lawmaker noted that his party administration had been known with the trademark of living above-board.
Going down the memory lane while he was contesting in his erstwhile political party, the governorship aspirant stated that a bigwig in the party showed keen interest before the party's primary election in 2016, which later made the electioneering process berefts of honesty.
"In PDP, there's no masquerade anywhere that can lodge himself on the party"
"When I was contesting under the APC in 2016, just few days to the primaries, a big masquerade came from Bourdillon to influence the process and the rest is history today.
"In PDP such cannot happen because it is a democratic party. The way you lay your bed is the way you will lie on it.
"There's no masquerade anywhere in the party because the primaries cannot be influenced".
In another development, the lawmaker who doubles as the founder of Achievers University, Owo, said he felt the harsh pains of students across the state, promising that if elected, students in tertiary Institutions will not pay an exorbitant fees as obtainable today.
"There is a difference between a private owned university and a state owned institution, so I believe the tuition fees needs a review", Ayorinde said.
