Following the recent news about the new case of Coronavirus in the state, The suspected journalist has kicked against government’s position.
Recall that, a Journalist who based in Ore was announced by the state government of contracting COVID-19 in the mid week.
The journalist, name withheld urged the public to ignore information saying he tested positive for Coronavirus.
While briefing Newsmen after he was discharged, he maintained that he has malaria without having any traces of Covid-19 symptoms.
He said he recovered from the sickness three weeks ago before he was invited during contact tracing of a patient in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State.
The freelance Journalist stressed further that during his first day in the Isolation Centre,an NCDC personnel who conducted another test for him confirmed him negative yet was still detained by the NCDC.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had on Monday during his weekly Press briefing on Covid-19 read out that an Ore- based Journalist contracted Coronavirus.
