Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has relieved seven Aides attached to the Deputy Governor's office of their appointments.
Segun Ajiboye, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor in a brief statement said "the affected aides are advised to submit all government's properties in their possession to the Chief of Staff to the Governor"
The affected aides are:
1. Mr Olomu Bayo, Special Assistant, Special Duties
2. Mr. Olawale Abolade Mukaila, Special Assistant, Photography
3. Mr. Babatope Okeowo, Deputy Chief Press Secretary
4. Mr. Samuel Ogunmusi, Personal Assistant, (Deputy Governor)
5. Mr. Omotunmise Tokunbo, Special Assistant to the wife of the Deputy Governor
6. Mrs Erifeyiwa Shola Akinnugba, (Photography, wife of the Deputy Governor
Recall today that, Media aide on new media to the Embattled Deputy Governor, Allen Sowore was relieved of his duty, Making the total number of sacked Aides of Agboola to be seven.
In his reaction about reliving his appointment, Sowore took to his Facebook account, he said he is liberated, adding that he stands with the Ondo State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Alfred Agboola
He wrote:
"I'm Liberated.
" I'm not a coward.
I follow religiously my convictions.
Whenever I take an action, I know the implications and always ready to bear the consequence.
I'm liberated"
"I don't betray.
I stand with the Ondo State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Alfred Agboola Ajayi"
"I'm a winner"
However, Arakunrin Akeredolu wishes them luck in their future endeavours.
